TCP delayed ack settings are expected to be modified when the
Wifi or LTE connection is established and the configurations
will be reverted back when the Wifi connection is terminated.

APN type was set to "default,supl,mms" for both internet and mms. Using CyanogenMod (CM11) it is causing of sending and receiving mms to get stuck forever.
This sets APN type for internet to "default,supl" and "mms" for mms.

It appears that some versions of sed do not work with the + symbol.
Instead of checking for one or more digits, check for a digit,
followed by zero or more digits.

this also problem with sprint 3g APN and lte apn numerics is the same
causing the apn stick together. one of those apn will always stick
persistently unless we force a manual disconnect or by selecting an apn
number from the list and that the 3g apn is due to the effect that it has
no way determining on which apn is used in sprint. they do it by the
numeric, which is why most lte numerics apn is separate from 3g numeric.

On low-end devices, the current 48 fps boot animation can use more than
50% of CPU time, and if the texture cache is enabled, a majority of main
memory as well. For these devices, add half-resolution variants of the
lower-resolution boot animations which display 2x upscaled -- this
greatly speeds the boot process and makes the boot animation run more
smoothly.

Sprint CDMA MMS APN was being incorrectly set as default and hipri,
causing LTE connectivity issues because it was prioritized over the
other APN entries for LTE and EHRPD.

For almost two months now I've been wondering why my phone's alarm clock
has lost much of its effectiveness. Today the reason finally hit me: the
CyanAlarm tone had been sneakily replaced in commit ID
dbb169ad9c33bdc392b47f7a1bdef3843eff9ab2!
Although the new tone is certainly more pleasant to listen at and
doesn't cause any heart attacks, it is less effective for heavy
sleepers like myself. This commit brings back the old CyanAlarm
version with the new (tentative) name "Nuclear Launch".

"getprop" depends on the presence of the property workspace
env var, which is created by the first starting service. Why
not make that sysinit itself? (\/) (°,,,°) (\/)
The old Sprint CDMA MMS apn uses the same MCC/MNC pair (310120) and apn
type ("default") as Sprint's LTE/eHRPD service. Thus, Sprint LTE devices
attempt to connect to LTE/eHRPD services using the old CDMA MMS apn first,
which usually fails, and thus delays service establishment.
However, occasionally service "successfully" connects with the CDMA MMS
apn, for unknown reasons, at which point that apn is set as the preferred
apn for LTE connections. Thus, any subsequent LTE/eHRPD connection attempt
fails due to use of the wrong apn.
By removing the old CDMA MMS apn, LTE/eHRPD connections will use the
appropriate apns. Furthermore
com.android.mms.transaction.TransactionSettings::TransactionSettings does
not query the bearer field when looking for valid MMS apns, so the
LTE/eHRPD will continue to work on non-LTE Sprint devices.
Note that with this change, the MMS apn now specifies an mmsproxy.

The "import" keyword is only parsed once, for a one shot execution, during
the initial section setup, and before running "on fs". Having an import of
a file that's located in a filesystem other than root will result in an error
like
<3> init: could not import file '/system/etc/init.local.rc' from '/init.rc'
So... any files imported into init need to be moved to the root fs.
While we're at it, move init.rc changes that are specific to CM (and don't
involve modification of preexisting configs) into this file, to ease future
upstream merges (and minimize breakage on devices that override init.rc with
their own variants)

This patch basically reverts the changes done to spn-conf.xml here:

The localized SPN function requires a framework change (Found here:
http://review.cyanogenmod.com/#/c/10037/), which is not
present on ics nor jellybean branches, effectively rendering the
settings useless.
Until the framework changes are present, I think it'd be best to
change this back so that users of these Chinese carriers will at
least have their carrier names displayed correctly.

New notifications and ringtones were added[1], but without proper
metadata. This caused "House_of_house.ogg" for example to be
displayed as "House_of_house" in the ringtone-selection dialog.

* 50-cm.sh contains only a reference implementation. You may customize the methods however you wish.
For example, 20-foobar.sh pre-backup can use a loop with conditionals to generate a dynamic backup list in
/tmp/foobar_file_list which is later printed by list_files() so the backup method will act on those files.
* Optional methods pre-backup, post-backup, pre-restore, or post-restore may be defined for special purposes.
* Inject new files into /tmp/addon.d/ prior to backuptool.sh backup if you want to act during the current CM upgrade.
* Delete files from /tmp/addon.d/ during post-restore if you want to permanently remove files from /system/addon.d/
Addons may use this approach to run a script only once.
* Scripts run in sort -n order. Prefix with numbers 00 through 99 if want to run in a particular order.
* You can have two separate scripts, implementing only backup in one, and only restore in the other with a different
number prefix of each. This allows even greater control the backup/restore order even further.

Since the destination for all backed up files during an installation was
/tmp, all files sharing a name (like the full_model.bin files from
the various face detectors) ended up being restored as copies of
the last such file, effectively breaking the backup.
As a fix, when backing up files, use the entire original path to make
sure they're kept separate and restorable.

At present, when running a busybox shell ("busybox sh") from mksh
(/system/bin/sh), one gets the following message before every command line:
sh: precmd: Permission denied
This is due to mkshrc exporting a PS1 which depends on a mkshrc defined
function, "precmd". Since "busybox sh" does not source mkshrc, it does not
have this function defined, resulting in the above error.
By not exporting PS1, "busybox sh" uses its own reasonable default. mksh
subshells continue to work as usual, since they (re)source /etc/mkshrc
anyways.

This corrects the MMS settings to match those seen on Virgin provided stock handsets and

According to packages/providers/TelephonyProvider/src/com/android/providers/telephony/TelephonyProvider.java,
getRow() method is knowing nothing about such attribute and just ignore it.
So it should do no harm to remove such.
There's a "authtype" attribute that is parsed, but its value should be an integer.

Previous default apn is a provider's special offer. After first connect
provider eats 5 UAH ($0.62), and users does not have enough time to disable
data at first boot.

The patch which was to allow custom_backup_list.txt to be maintained while flashing via ROMManager
WHILE the flag/file force_backuptool is set/present still has issues. There are 2 reasons for this.
1) The flag is only checked during the first pass (backuptool.sh backup), as once /etc/force_backuptool
is known to exist, all files are moved to /tmp/backupdir as designated, but when the script is
ran again once /system has been wiped and updated, the file /etc/force_backuptool no longer exists
as it was moved to /tmp/backupdir/force_backuptool, so the script fails as it is not checking that
location.
2) When the backuptool.sh script is called, the above function (checking for force_backuptool) is called
*before* the /system partition is mounted. This therefor ignores the file regardless of whether it
exists or not. This is caused by check_installscript being called at the wrong point of the script.
There are therefor 2(two) main changes to this script to allow the force_backuptool override to work.
The first being within the main function of check_installscript, and the second being the location of
where check_installscript is called (ie, I moved it to below check_prereq call in the case statement,
as mounting is called before the check_prereq function checks if the ROM version is the same).
This affects *all* devices.
